Artificial Intelligence is the imitation of human intelligence functions by machines, particularly computer systems. Examples of particular AI applications include expert systems, Machine Learning, natural language processing, speech recognition, and machine vision. The four primary areas of AI Reactive Machines, Theory of Mind, Limited Memory, and Self-Aware AI are examples of Artificial Intelligence that can accomplish jobs that would typically require human knowledge and skills but are instead controlled by computers. All of the intelligence functions required to implement AI will be covered in AIT's Artificial Intelligence course.
