Software testing analysis is carried out on varying levels of software development to assess whether the software adheres to specified requirements and to detect defects (software bugs) in the software or its documentation. Software testing can be divided into two broad categories which are Manual Software testing and Automated Software testing both of them have advantages and disadvantages. Software Testing Training includes Automation Testing Courses, Manual Testing Course, and Gorilla Testing classes.
Automated software testing is a process that can be used to find defects (errors) in software by executing it against its specifications. Automation eliminates the human element of repetitive tasks, thus saving time. It provides a consistent result, which is an important aspect of any form of testing. The main focus is to reduce the maximum amount of human errors in application testing, automation checking helps the QA team avoid executing checks in a faster time frame.
Manual Testing aims to verify that the software works as per the designed specifications so, new applications should be manually tested for critical bugs and errors. A script is created before Manual Testing starts to ensure that all steps or stages of testing are verified before release. A manual tester generally performs his duties from a desk with the help of a GUI provided by the programmer and reads the code line by line to check whether all features are working perfectly. During this period, the manual tester tests for bugs in the code, security vulnerabilities, broken links, search engine incompatibilities, etc.
